This sweet double-sided tee advertises the 1998 Michael Bay film, Armageddon. The blockbuster hit had a star studded cast that included Bruce Willis, Ben Affleck, Billy Bob Thornton, and Liv Tyler, and it wound up becoming the highest-grossing film of the year, raking in over $550 million. It was even nominated for four Academy Awards in the categories of Best Sound, Best Visual Effects, Best Sound Editing, and Best Original Song thanks to Aerosmith's chart topping hit "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing", which was the band's first and last Billboard Hot 100 number one track. Aerosmith actually contributed four songs to the soundtrack, most likely due to the fact that Steven Tyler's daughter was the film's leading lady.

Armageddon was a science fiction disaster film about an impending asteroid collision that would destroy all life on Earth. NASA devises a plan to train a group of blue-collar oil drillers to stop the giant asteroid by drilling through it. This was Michael Bay's third collaboration with Jerry Bruckheimer, who landed Bay his first gig directing the feature film, Bad Boys.

Although a commercial hit, Armageddon was not well received by critics, who picked apart its nonsensical and illogical plot. Affleck, who played one of the drillers, even asked Bay why it was easier to train oil drillers to be astronauts rather than vice versa, to which the director responded, "shut up." Despite these criticisms, fans have enjoyed the film for what it is: a simple action-packed gem of the late 90s. This shirt pays tribute to that with the cheeky tagline, "Heads Up."

Fits like a modern unisex adult Extra Large. There are several small holes along the bottom, see pics.
