This humorous tee celebrates the fictional Bear Whiz Beer, the supposed favorite of the Firesign Theatre, and it includes the slogan, "it's in the water- that's why it's yellow". The Firesign Theatre were a comedy troupe, who first appeared on the Los Angeles radio station KPFK FM in 1966. The troupe was created by Peter Bergman, and together with Philip Proctor, Phil Austin, and David Ossman, the group recorded fifteen comedy albums throughout the 60s and 70s. One of the troupe's most memorable bits included a parody beer ad for the aforementioned Bear Whiz Beer.
