This cool, distressed tee features the Harley-Davidson logo below a bald eagle mid flight and two U.S. flags. The shirt reads, "Born in the U.S.A. By the People, For the People."

Harley-Davidson was founded in the early 20th century. The brand is one of two, classic American motorcycle manufacturers to survive the Great Depression, the other being Indian Motorcycles. Harleys are known for being customizable, which gave rise to the popularity of the "chopper" style of motorcycle.

The brand fell out of favor in the 1970s as their bike quality dipped and Japanese-made bikes became more popular due to their afford ability and higher quality. The company was sold in the early 1980s and the decade became about reclaiming the Harley-Davidson name as the classic, American motorcycle. Old designs were revived and the "retro" styles did well against the sleeker, Japanese bike models. The 80s saw the creation of the Sturgis model, named after the famous motorcycle rally in Sturgis, South Dakota.

Harley-Davidson has a loyal fan base with an active culture. The nickname "hog" for a bike originated in the Harley-Davidson community. In the 20s, a group of farm boys who raced with Harleys called themselves "the hog boys" and consistently won races. After winning a race, they would put their mascot, a live hog, on the bike and take a victory lap. The brand had embraced the term and established HOG, or Harley Owners Group, in the 80s to build upon the loyalty of Harley fans. HOG has local chapters all over the world that host rallies and charity events.

Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. Soft and thin, small holes and runs, see pics.
