This sweet tri blended ringer is for the Lipton Tea company, specifically for the Lipton cannery which used to be in Albion, New York. The Thomas J. Sweet Canning Cannery opened in 1914 and was later sold to Continental Foods in 1942. Continental Foods was also known as the Thomas J. Lipton Company which is most famous for their iced tea and soups mixes. During the 1940s the plant was used to help produce products for both the public and the war effort for World War II.
