This cool three-quarter sleeved jersey features some stylish topstitching details, and is a souvenir from Walt Disney World in 1980. The Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida near Orlando, first opened in 1971 with just a single amusement park, Magic Kingdom.Overtime the entertainment complex would open several more parks and attractions including Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom.  

Disney World experienced some exciting changes the year that this shirt was manufactured, the most notable of which was the opening of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in the Frontierland area of the Magic Kingdom. This exciting roller coaster was themed to take riders on a high speed runaway train through the American Southwest. The coaster was built as a replacement for the Mickey Mouse Revue. 1980 was also the year that unlimited ride passports were first introduced to the general public, and Disney imagineers were also hard at work on the construction of Epcot Center, which would eventually open in 1982.
