This vintage tee specifically celebrates the Scottsdale Fightin' Artichokes of Scottsdale Community College, who were excited to appear in their first ever bowl game. The team was fairly new on the scene, having only been established in 1973, but they proved to be a formidable force as they earned the 1977 Arizona Community College Athletic Conference title. The Arizona Junior College Champs were granted a successful bid to the Beef Empire Classic, where they tied against the Garden City Broncbusters.
