This amazing graphic tee celebrates the classic, folk rock trio Crosby, Stills, & Nash. The three musicians began playing together at a time when their careers were uncertain. David Crosby had just left the Byrds, Graham Nash was feeling stifled creatively by the Hollies, and Buffalo Springfield had broken up leaving Stephen Stills without a band. During jam sessions, the three quickly figured out that they harmonized well and by 1969, they had released their eponymous debut album. That same year they began touring and they played their second ever concert at Woodstock. Shortly after, the trio began performing as Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young when they added Neil Young to the line-up.
The band was infamous for their complicated interpersonal issues, often fueled by drug addiction, that resulted in a lengthy hiatus in the 70s, and Young coming in and out of the group. Regardless of their issues, Crosby, Stills, & Nash put out a total of 8 studio albums, and they continue to regularly reunite, sometimes with Young and sometimes without him. CSN was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 and they hold the record for being the only band to have all its members inducted twice.
