This rad graphic tee is a keepsake from Eric Clapton's 1994 North American tour. Clapton is widely considered to be one of the best guitarists in rock 'n roll, ranking second on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time. Over the years, he's played with several bands but he's also established himself as a successful solo artist. Clapton has won an impressive 18 Grammy Awards and holds the record for being the only three-time inductee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: as a member of the Yardbirds, Cream and as a solo artist.

In 1994, Clapton released the album From the Cradle, his 12th studio album to date. From the Cradle was a cover album of well-known blues songs and this was Clapton's first attempt at an all blues, solo record. The album received mixed reviews but ultimately won Clapton the 1995 Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Album. He kicked off his 1994 tour in NYC mostly playing tracks off of From the Cradle. Music critics at the time acknowledged the risk Clapton was taking by playing almost only blues music to his fans for the first time in decades. Many critics agreed that while his singing was good, his guitar-playing was masterful.
