This sweet t-shirt features the characters from the animated series Space Ghost, which debuted in the 1960s. This shirt shows off the titular superhero as well as his sidekicks Jan, Jace, and Blip. Hanna-Barbera Productions created the series, and it originally aired on CBS as one half of the two-part program, Space Ghost and Dino Boy. During its original run, Space Ghost was a typical action adventure cartoon, that centered around an intergalactic superhero from the Ghost Planet. The hero was voiced by Gary Owens, who was best known for providing the voice over for Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In.

In the 90s, a new Space Ghost show was created called Space Ghost Coast to Coast. This revival reused some of the original animation cels from the Hanna-Barbera archives, and it used a completely different format than the 1960s series. Space Ghost Coast to Coast was a talk show designed to parody late night talk programs, and the villains of the original series, Zorak and Brak, were re-purposed as Space Ghost's new sidekicks.
