This sweet vintage radio tee is for the station WHTZ 100.3 FM, also known as Z100. The station is licensed to Newark, New Jersey and it broadcasts top 40 hits to the New York Metropolitan area. The 100.3 FM station had been in use since the 1940s, but Z100 didn't debut until 1983. It premiered with the morning disc jockey Scott Shannon and the first two songs ever played on the station were "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor and "America" by Neil Diamond. This shirt is from the 90s and the graphic features an image of the Empire State Building to advertise their program The Morning Zoo, and the back features the slogan, "show us your nuts".
