This eye-catching vintage ZZ Top tee is from the early 90s, and it celebrates their album Recycler and its corresponding promotional tour. Recycler was the band's tenth studio album released in 1990. An old western version of the album's hit song " Doubleback" was performed by the band in the film Back to the Future Part III. According to bassist Dusty Hill, the group was not originally supposed to be in the film, they were only asked to write a song for the scene. One evening ZZ Top visited the set, and when Hill saw the western town the crew had built for the film, he wanted in. It did not take much to convince director Robert Zemeckis to agree, and with a few adjustments ZZ Top were written into the scene that same evening.

Other notable songs from the Recycler album include "Concrete and Steel", "Burger Man", "Give it Up", and "Head in Mississippi". Recycler's promotional tour had the band traveling to both America and Europe from October 1990 to September 1991. Sponsored by Miller Lite, the tour featured fellow hard rock musicians The Black Crowes,  Bryan Adams, and The Law as opening acts.
