This Minnesota North Stars hockey jersey from the 70s was worn by McGregor during the encore of a Foghat concert in the team's home state. The North Stars were active from 1967 to 1993 in Bloomington, Minnesota before relocating to Dallas where they became the Dallas Stars.

The North Stars saw success early with players Lorne Worsley, Cesare Maniago, Ted Harris, Bill Goldsworthy, Barry Gibbs, Jude Drouin, Danny Grant, Lou Nanne, Tom Reid, and Dennis Hextall. In 1978, the North Stars were struggling, and they would merge with the Cleveland Barons, also declining in attendance and success.

This shirt fits like a modern unisex adult Small. It has several small holes, and some wear and discoloration, see pics.

This item is from the estate of Craig MacGregor, the bassist for the band Foghat in the 1970s, 80s, and again in the 2000’s.  The item was owned by Craig, a collector of t-shirts, and stored for some time in a basement before it came into our possession.  As a result there may be some lingering basement odor. All items are authentic pieces of rock and roll history and in many cases are one-of-a-kind.  Further authentication and chain-of-custody can be provided upon request.
