The team is one of two pro hockey teams in Pennsylvania, and they play for the NHL's Eastern Conference. Their colors are black, white, and yellow. The back has the name of Mario Lemieux, former Penguins ice hockey player, and current owner of the Penguins. He played for the Penguins from 1984-1997.
