This awesome vintage rock tee is for the band Pearl Jam and it features the cover art graphic for the group's debut single "Alive". The song was released in 1991 shortly before the release of their debut album Ten. The song was first written by guitarist Stone Gossard, as an instrumental piece. A demo of the song was recorded and circulated in hopes of finding a singer for the band. Eventually it sparked the interest of Eddie Vedder who wrote lyrics describing the somewhat fictional account of the time he learned the man he considered his father was not his biological parent.

Ten was not an immediate success when it was released, but by the following year the album had made it to the number two spot on the Billboard 200. Aside from "Alive" the album spawned two other hit singles, "Even Flow" and "Jeremy". The latter of which earned the band nominations for Best Rock Song and Best Hard Rock Performance at the 1993 Grammy Awards. The music video for the song received heavy airplay on MTV and earned the group the Video of the Year award at the VMAs.

Both Pearl Jam and the album Ten are considered to have been quintessential in the rise of alternative rock during the 90s. Pearl Jam was a key band in the decade's grunge movement and they were later inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.
