This awesome double-sided concert tee is for the folk punk band the Violent Femmes and it commemorates their New Times Tour, which was launched in 1994 to promote their album of the same name. This was the band's first album not to feature their original drummer Victor DeLorenzo, who was instead replaced by Guy Hoffman. The album featured songs like "Breakin' Up", "4 Seasons", and "I'm Nothing", which was later featured in the movie Bickford Shmeckler's Cool Ideas. The album didn't sell particularly well, only making it to the number 90 spot on the Billboard 200, but its songs are considered among the band's most complex and lyrically inventive.

Around this time the band continued to record a handful of one-off tracks used on motion picture soundtracks such as the songs "I Swear It (I Can Change)" for South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut and "Color Me Once" for The Crow. In the early 2000s DeLorenzo requested to rejoin the band for what was originally going to be their farewell tour.
