This unique football jersey was made all the way back in the 60s for the Tulane University football team, known as the Green Wave. Tulane's football program goes back over 120 years. It's believed that the first football game ever played in the state of Louisiana was an organized game between Tulane students in 1893.

The Green Wave has played in several conferences over the years. In the 60s, they left the Southeastern Conference to become independent until joining Conference USA, and then the American Athletic Conference. They've won nine conference championships and six bowl games. The Green Waves' oldest rivalry is with the LSU Tigers. The two teams started playing in the Battle for the Rag in 1893 and as of 2009, have played a total of 98 games. The game got its name from the trophy, a satin flag that had both schools' insignias on opposite sides and the seal of the state in the center.

Fits like a modern unisex adult extra small. There are spots on the back, see pics.
