This awesome tour shirt is for Neil Young and Crazy Horse's 1987 tour across North America. The tour followed the release of Young's 15th studio album Landing on Water, which did not feature Crazy Horse. However the album did include several songs from Young and Crazy Horse's failed 1984 sessions. The album peaked at number 58 on the Billboard 200 album charts.
Similar to their Rust Never Sleeps Tour, the 1987 tour produced a subsequent live album. Titled Life, it was Young's final album released by Geffen Records. The only songs, not to be recorded live were "Cryin' Eyes" and "We Never Danced", as they came from a recording session at Record One studio. The rest of the songs were all recorded during performances at the Universal Amphitheater in Universal City, California.
In the year following the tour Young would reunite with Crosby, Stills, and Nash for the album, American Dream. It was only their second studio album as a quartet. The group played two benefit concerts as well, but never decided to launch a full tour.
