This awesome Adidas jersey features the brand's iconic trefoil logo printed on a soft, bright yellow cotton blend. It was most likely worn for soccer, or football as it's known worldwide, and it has a lot of life left to give on the pitch.
Adidas is known for their sporting shoes and apparel and they claim the title of second largest sportswear brand after Nike. The brand was founded by Adi Dassler, who named the company after himself, in the early 20th century. The trefoil logo, as seen on this shirt, incorporates the earlier, three stripe logo as well. Dassler acquired the rights to the three stripe logo from a failing Finnish shoe brand for the equivalent of 1,600 euros and two bottles of whiskey. The trefoil logo was introduced later by the brand and the three leaves were meant to represent the three continents where Adidas goods were available at the time: North America, Europe, and Asia.
