This awesome vintage tank top is from a 1989 World Tour featuring glam metal bands Ratt, Britny Fox, and Kix. The front of the shirt is dedicated to the headliner Ratt, while the back features Britny Fox and Kix. The tour came shortly after the release of Ratt's fourth album Reach for the Sky. It was the last album to be produced by Beau Hill who had also worked with Kix, Alice Cooper, and Europe. The album featured the popular songs "Way Cool Jr." and "I Want a Woman". It also managed to achieve platinum status however it did not garner much attention for the promotional tour.
1989 started off well enough for the band, with Ratt playing the Tokyo Dome twice. First alongside Kingdom Come and Britny Fox in support of headliner Bon Jovi and then later on their own. Their world tour was scheduled for the spring with Kix, Britny Fox, and Warrant, who are known most famously for their song "Cherry Pie". Tickets sales were poor and the tour was cancelled. This shirt is one of the few remaining bits of evidence of the failed tour.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. This shirt is cut into a tank top with wide sleeves, see pics.
