This cool vintage concert shirt is from a 1989 tour for the rock band Tesla. The group was first formed in the early 80s in Sacramento, California and they quickly grew a reputation as one of the many worthwhile California based glam metal bands of the decade.

1989 was the year that the group put out their second album The Great Radio Controversy, which was integral in helping them to cement their growing fan base. The tracks "Love Song", "Heaven's Trail (No Way Out)", "Hang Tough", and "The Way It Is" were all favorites on MTV's Headbangers Ball, which helped to further boost the rising popularity of the band. The album went double platinum and was named after a controversy involving the credit of who invented the radio. While Italian engineer Guglielmo Marconi is officially named as the inventor of the radio, it is widely believed that the true credit should go to the band's namesake Nikola Tesla.

Fits like a modern unisex adult medium
