This sweet sleeveless double-sided concert tee is for the Police from their 1983 North American tour to promote the album Synchronicity. This was the fifth and final album released by the group. It was also the band's most successful release, featuring several hit singles such as "Every breath You Take", "King of Pain", "Wrapped Around Your Finger", and "Synchronicity II". Much of the material for the album including its title, was inspired by the parapsychology book by Arthur Koestler, The Roots of Coincidence.
The album was number one on both the US and UK charts and it won three Grammy awards for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals, Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals, and Song of the Year with "Every Breath You Take" managing to beat out Michael Jackson's smash hit "Billie Jean". This was the height of the Police's career as Rolling Stone was quoted saying they were "The first British New Wave act to break through in America on a grand scale and possibly the biggest band in the world."
