This awesome double-sided tee celebrates the B-52's and it was made for their Comic Tour, designed to promote the 1989 album, Cosmic Thing. The future of the B-52's was uncertain after the tragic death of their guitarist, Ricky Wilson. Although the group released Bouncing off the Satellites in 1986, they needed time to grieve the loss of their former band member, and refrained from touring in support of the album. When they arrived back on the scene with Cosmic Thing, the record wound up becoming their mainstream breakthrough.
Cosmic Thing was an international hit, that ranked among the top ten best-selling albums in the US for 1990. It featured the popular singles "Roam", "Deadbeat Club", and arguably the band's best known hit, "Love Shack". Their first tour since Wilson's death, the B-52's kicked off the Cosmic Tour with a special benefit performance in support of PETA.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. This shirt is soft and distressed with several holes, see pics.
