This sweet sleeveless sweatshirt commemorates the Cool Places Tour from the new wave pop duo, Sparks. The tour was named after the lead single off the group's twelfth studio album, In Outer Space. Despiting hailing from America, Sparks didn't gain much commercial attention in the US until the early 80s. They scored a few international hits in the 70s, but their 1982 single "I Predict" was their first song to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. "Cool Places" became their second US hit, and the song was a collaboration with Jane Wiedlin of the Go-Go's.

This sweatshirt was made during the peak of the group's popularity in the States, as "Cool Places" became their highest charting single in the US. Despite this, the duo have influenced several notable alternative rock and pop artists over the years. Musicians Steve Cook, Morrissey, and Bjork have all cited Sparks' 1974 record Kimono My House as a source of inspiration.
