This sweet double-sided t-shirt honors the iconic heavy metal musician, Ozzy Osbourne. The English singer first rose to prominence as the lead vocalist of Black Sabbath, before he later launched his own successful solo career. Through the course of his career, Osbourne has become a rock n' roll icon, who's characterized by his hard rocking music and outrageous stunts. This shirt honors one of Ozzy's most infamous incidents, in which the rockstar bit the head off of a dove.

In 1981, Osbourne had successfully signed his first solo record deal with CBS Records. Blizzard of Ozz was released in the US on March 27th, and that day Osbourne was scheduled to appear at a CBS sales convention in Los Angeles. The singer was supposed to give a short speech and then release a trio of doves. Instead he shocked executives and publicists by biting off the head of one of the birds, which had died before the end of the presentation. He proceeded to devour the head of a second dove as security was escorting him out. Osbournes' substance abuse was near its peak during this period, and the singer was incredibly intoxicated during the incident, but the stunt failed to dampen his record sales. While Osbourne regrets his behavior in hindsight, he's at least grateful for the attention it granted him. This shirt was made a decade later, and not only does it reference the event, but it shows the dove getting its revenge with Osbourne's severed head on the back.
