This sweet double-sided tank is for the R&B and soul musician Johnny Bristol and it highlights the song "Love Takes Tears" off his 1975 album Feeling the Magic. Bristol is best known for his work as a record producer for Motown Records in the late 60s and early 70s. His composition "Love Me for a Reason" also gained international attention when it was covered by The Osmonds. Bristol's own version of the song was recorded in 1974 and included on his album Hang On In There Baby. He was nominated for the 1975 Grammy Award for Best New Artist although he lost to future EGOT winner Marvin Hamlisch.

Bristol continued to record his solo work, and also worked as a producer for performers like Margie Joseph, Taveres, and the Jackson Sisters. He produced Tom Jones' album Memories Don't Leave Like People Do which included several covers of Bristol's songs. He also recorded a duet with Amii Stewart on a medley of "My Guy" made popular by Mary Wells and "My Girl" by the Temptations.

Fits like a modern unisex adult extra small.
