This white vintage sweatshirt features the phrase "Don't Worry Be Happy". This is the title of hit 1988 song by Bobby McFerrin. The song was the first a cappella track to ever claim the number one spot on the Billboard 100. It managed to hold the position for two weeks and even displaced the Guns N' Roses favorite "Sweet Child O' Mine".

The phrase "Don't Worry Be Happy" was first popularized by the Indian mystic Meher Baba. Inspirational posters printed with the phrase were popular throughout the 1960s. McFerrin saw one of these posters in the home of fellow musicians Tuck & Patti and was inspired to write the song, which was used on the soundtrack for the Tom Cruise movie Cocktail.
