This green t-shirt features a logo design with the slogan "Just Say No". The phrase was a part of an anti drug advertising campaign that was launched in the 80s and early 90s. It was a part of the United States "War on Drugs" and the purpose of the slogan was to teach and encourage children to say no to engaging in recreational drug use.

The slogan was created and marketed by First Lady Nancy Reagan during her husband's presidency. It first came to light in 1982 when a student at Longfellow Elementary School in California asked the First Lady what she should do if offered drugs by her peers. Reagan then traveled throughout the country promoting this anti drug message. The slogan expanded into the mainstream, appearing on series like Diff'rent Strokes and Punky Brewster, and in 1987, La Toya Jackson recorded a song titled "Just Say No".
