This amazing vintage rock tee is for singer-songwriter Roger Waters, who is known most famously for co-founding the incredibly successful progressive rock band Pink Floyd. Waters originated as the band's bassist but eventually became the group's co-lead vocalist and lyricist after the departure of Syd Barrett. This awesome tee is for Waters' K.A.O.S. On the Road Tour from 1987, which was designed to promote his solo album Radio K.A.O.S.
This was Waters' second solo album and the first after his formal split from Pink Floyd. Radio K.A.O.S. was a concept album centering around several topics such as monetarism, 80s popular culture, and the Cold War. It also made criticisms of Margaret Thatcher's government, much like the Pink Floyd album The Final Cut. The album tells the story of Billy, a mentally and physically disabled man from Wales and it explores Billy's world view through an interview between him and a disc jockey at a fictitious radio station named Radio KAOS. The accompanying tour was the largest of Waters' career up until that point and it featured elaborate staging, props, and video designed to make it look like a K.A.O.S. radio special.
