This sweet vintage band tee is for the iconic English rock group The Rolling Stones and it features their famous tongue and lips logo, which was created by designer John Pasche in 1970. This shirt was made back in the early 80s, and very likely could be a keepsake from the group's American Tour 1981. With $50 million in ticket sales, this was the highest grossing tour of 1981, and it was used to help promotes the Stones' recent album Tattoo You.

The 1981 tour featured a colorful and elaborate set conceived by the Japanese designer Kazuhide Yamazaki, and one of the highlights of the set included a cherry picker that would release hundreds of multicolored balloons down onto the stage at the end of the show. Openers for the tour included George Thorogood and the J. Geils Band. There was a third opener as well, a then unknown young artist by the name of Prince, but the future pop icon failed to make it through three songs before Rolling Stones fans booed him off stage.

The American Tour was later followed by The European Tour, which was used to promote the band's 20th Anniversary. It was the Stones' first time playing in Europe in six years, and it culminated with them landing a four -album recording deal with CBS Records for $50 million. At the time, it was the largest record deal in history.

Fits like a modern unisex adult small. There's some light discoloration throughout, see pics.
