This shirt was made in the 90s, but it features a photo of celebrated actor, Clark Gable on the MGM lot back in 1938. Gable starred in two Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer films that were released in 1938, Test Pilot and Too Hot to Handle. Test Pilot was an Academy Award nominated success, as well as Gable's second film alongside Spencer Tracy. The movie also starred Myrna Loy, who appeared in seven films with Gable, including Too Hot to Handle.

During this period, Gable was under contract to MGM, who never loaned the star out to any other studios. This meant that negotiations had to be made for Gable to appear in arguably his most famous role, as Rhett Butler in Gone with the Wind. A deal was struck in 1938 that allowed Gable to appear in the film and also required producer David O. Selznick to pay Gable's weekly salary.

Fits like a modern unisex adult Extra Large. There is a repair on the right side while wearing, see pics.
