This awesome double-sided concert t-shirt is for the iconic American rock band Kiss, and it commemorates the group's 1996 Alive/Worldwide Tour. The front of the shirt features a full color image of the band dressed as their elaborate costumed stage personas, which were meant to resemble comic-book style characters. However, the band hadn't used these personas for quite some times prior to the tour. 1983 to 1996 was known as their "Unmasking" era during which the group chose to shed their famous costumes and makeup. Around this period, Peter Criss known as the Catman and Ace Frehley the Spaceman, also chose to leave the group and they were replaced by Eric Singer and Bruce Kulick respectively.

The 1996 Alive/Worldwide Tour was an exciting event, as it was the first time that the original lineup would be reuniting to perform as the costumed characters they had come to be known for. The band appeared at the 38th Annual Grammy Awards sporting their Love Gun era outfits and they announced their plans for a full-fledged reunion tour a few months later, during a press conference aboard the USS Intrepid. Fans went crazy over seeing the band again and tickets for the first show sold out in under an hour. The group worked hard to get into shape, and show that they still had the same energy as the rock gods they had been in the 70s. The Alive/Worldwide Tour became one of the most popular of 1996, earning a total of $43.6 million.
