This awesome vintage band tee is for the iconic rock band Metallica and it features a sweet 90s graphic designed by Pushead, as well as the lyrics to the group's 1988 song "The Shortest Straw". The song appeared on the group's fourth studio album ...And Justice For All which was their first album to be released following the death of their bassist Cliff Burton. The album was highly acclaimed by music critics upon its release and it was nominated for the 1989 Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance Vocal or Instrumental, however it lost to Jethro Tull, much to the disappointment of fans who felt Metallica was more deserving. The band did manage to earn their first Grammy Award later in 1990 for the single "One" which was also included on the album.

This shirt's amazing graphics are typical of illustrator Brian Schroeder, better known as Pushead, who has worked with a number of hardcore and heavy metal musicians. Some of his clients have included Misfits, Dr. Dre, Travis Barker, and Rocket from the Crypt. While the cover art of ...And Justice For All was designed by Stephen Gorman, the album's interior featured illustration from Pushead. His images were also used heavily in Metallica's video album 2 of One , which was released in 1989.

Fits like a modern unisex adult large. The neck and sleeves have been cut.
