This vintage tee pays tribute to Denver Broncos quarterback Norris Weese. It's held up nicely over the years and ready for many more. Features old school graphics and a hundred percent cotton.
Norris Lee Weese played for the Broncos NFL football team from 1974-1979. The highlight of his career was Super Bowl XII (1978). Weese replaced starter QB Craig Morton in the third quarter, and led the team to a touchdown. He was well known for being an agile quarterback.
Broncos didn't take home the title but Weese's contributions to that game were recognized and he was named the starting QB the following year. Tragically, a knee injury ended his football career the same year. Still, Weese's record for the most game rushing yards as QB still stands today.
Fits like a modern unisex adult small. Copyright '78. Repair next to the collar, see pics.
