The Hangtown Motocross Classic dates back to 1968, founded by the Dirt Diggers Motorcycle Club (DDNMC) with the goal of attracting the best MX riders in Northern California. Their very first race kicked off in Placerville, CA which was known as "Hangtown" during the Gold Rush era.

The Hangtown dirt bike races would eventually need more space to accommodate its growing number of racers, so in '79 both Dirt Diggers Motorcycle Club and the event moved to Prairie City OHV Park in Rancho Cordova. To this day, Hangtown is the longest running motocross national of all time and the only one still run by a motorcycle club.

Fits like a modern unisex adult small.
