This bright yellow t-shirt is from the 80s and it says "I survived the great Conoco bidding war of 1981". The shirt commemorates the multi-billion dollar bidding war that broke out when Conoco, the ninth largest oil company in America at the time, went up for grabs. Industrial giants DuPont Co. and Seagram Ltd. were both aiming to snag Conoco, but prices for th company got even higher after Mobil Oil Corp. joined in on th bidding. In the end Dupont acquired the company, and in exchange for its stake in Conoco, Seagram became 24.3% owner of Dupont.

Fits like a modern unisex adult small.
