This awesome vintage shirt is from a reunion concert played by the Go-Gos in 1990 to support the Environmental Protection Initiative. The Go-Gos are an American rock band famous for their all female line-up consisting of Charlotte Caffey, Belinda Carlisle, Gina Schock, Kathy Valentine, and Jane Wiedlin. They rose to fame during the 1980s, becoming a staple among the new wave scene with hits like "Our Lips Are Sealed", "We Got the Beat", "Vacation", and "Head over Heels". The group originally broke up in 1985, a year after the release of their album Talk Show.
This reunion concert was the first time the original line-up had all played together in six years, and the goal of the concert was to benefit the California Environmental Protection Act, which would be voted on later that year. Jane Fonda took part in organizing the event and the Havalinas served as the opening band. Although petition signers worked diligently throughout the concert, most audience members were simply attending to enjoy their favorite 80s jams. In 1999 the Go-Gos reunited again to tour regularly.
Fits like a modern unisex adult small.
