This sweet jersey style shirt is for Carlos Santana from his 1976 tour to promote the seventh studio album released by his band, Santana. The album was called Amigos and it was the first album from the band to breach the top ten of the Billboard charts since they released Caravanserai in 1972. The lineup saw the introduction of vocalist Greg Walker, meanwhile it would also be the last album to feature bassist David Brown.
Santana took the time to explore their sound throughout the 70s, incorporating a more jazz oriented sound at the cost of some commercial success. Amigos had a strong funk and Latin sound to it and received decent airplay from album-oriented rock stations. It included the songs "Dance Sister Dance", "Let It Shine", and "Europa", which became a top ten hit over in Europe after it was released as a single.
The tags says large but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There are small holes on the front and the white is discolored from the sleeves, see pics.
