This cool tee features the classic slogan for the delicious soda, Dr. Pepper. Dr. Pepper was originally created by the pharmacist Charles Alderton back in the 1880s. It became nationally marketed to the US in 1904, and the soft drink is famous for being made with 23 flavors.

This shirt was made in the 70s, when the carbonated beverage was marketed using the "Be a Pepper" commercial. This iconic advertisement featured a catchy tune performed by the actor David Naughton, and the jingle went, "I'm a pepper, he's a pepper, she's a pepper, if you drink Dr. Pepper, you're a pepper too." Naughton was fairly unknown at the time the commercial debuted, but he later went on to star in the beloved horror film An American Werewolf in London.
