This sweet distressed tee is for the Philadelphia Folk Festival. This annual music festival is held at Old Pool Farm in Upper Salford, Pennsylvania and has been going since the early 60s. The festival lasts four days and is run entirely by volunteers and sponsored by a local non-profit organization, the Philadelphia Folksong Society. The goal of the society is to preserve and maintain folk music through education and entertainment. The Folk Festival is one of their largest events and it is the oldest continuously running festival of its kind. It was founded by radio personality Gene Shay and American folklorist Kenneth S. Goldstein. With over 35,000 annual attendees and over 75 hours of music on 8 different stages, the event hosts a number of contemporary and traditional artists who perform Celtic, folk, folk rock, and country music.
