This cool tee is from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington and it's in great condition from the 70s! The school began as a seminary school but soon evolved into a small private liberal arts and science school. The college was named for Dr. Marcus and Narcissa Prentiss Whitman, who founded the Whitman Mission during the 1800s. The couple was murdered during the Whitman Massacre a little over a decade before the seminary that would eventually become Whitman College was founded.
