This long-sleeved vintage t-shirt is likely from the Chicago Marathon back in the 80s. The front of the shirt says "America's Marathon" and features a graphic of the iconic Chicago Flair House. The Flair House belonged to Lee Flaherty, who helped to develop and finance the first modern day Chicago Marathon back in 1977. This first edition of the marathon was originally called the Mayor Daley Marathon. By the time the early 80s rolled around, the Chicago Marathon has established itself as one of the most prominent marathons in the United States.
