This vintage tee celebrates the 1989 NBA World Champions the Detroit Pistons. The Pistons were pitted against the Western Conference champs, the Los Angeles Lakers, and they won the series finals in a four-game sweep. The team was nicknamed "The Bad Boys" in reference to their rough physical demeanor. The name came from Pistons' center Bill Laimbeer, and it became an unofficial team slogan for the following season. The following season the Pistons managed to snag a second consecutive Championship victory, this time against the Portland Trailblazers. NBA Hall of Famer and Pistons guard, Joe Dumars, was named the MVP of the series.
