This awesome raglan shirt celebrates one of Steven Spielberg's most successful science fiction masterpieces, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. The 1982 film was inspired by an imaginary friend Spielberg created as a child following the divorce of his parents. The movie centered around a lost alien that befriends a young boy, and the heartwarming picture was an immediate blockbuster. It held the record for highest-grossing film of all time before it was surpassed by another Spielberg favorite, Jurassic Park.

The movie received an impressive nine nominations at the 55th Academy Awards, and it took home four of those awards. While the movie was lauded for its touching and whimsical storyline, it was primarily awarded for its sound design and visual effects. The titular alien character was portrayed using a series of animatronics designed by special effects artist Carlo Rambaldi. In addition to his designs for E.T., Rambaldi has also won an Academy Award for his work on another, very different film about a visitor from another planet, Ridley Scott's Alien.

Fits like a modern unisex adult small. There is a repair on the bottom, see pics.
