This tee features the "Be a Pepper," logo, from the campaign by Dr. Pepper, launched in 1977. David Naughton was the first of the commercials, followed by celebrities like Michael Jackson and the Jacksons, Chic, Tanya Tucker, and Popeye the Sailor Main. As the campaign became more popular, J.C. Penney began selling sportswear and accessories with the "I'm a Pepper," logo from 1977 to 1982.

The backside reads, "Front Row Theatre Hot Rod Show," an event in 1983 sponsored by Northern Ohio Street Rods. The theatre in Cleveland closed in 1993.

Tag says large but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult medium. It has some paint stains on the front, see pics.
