This concert tee is an original keepsake from the 1982 Colorado Sun Day #1 at Folsom Field (University of Colorado) in Boulder, Colorado. It's been loved on hard over the years, rendering the cotton blend super thin, buttery soft, and perfectly worn-in. In true 80s style, it's loaded with awesome graphics, double sided print, and classic raglan quarter sleeves.
The Colorado Sun Day concert tradition dates back to 1978, with their first ever lineup consisting of the eras biggest rock acts such as Journey, The Beach Boys, Rolling Stones, Kansas, Peter Tosh, Fleetwood Mac, and the Eagles.
The 1982 edition of CSD did not disappoint and came in with another wave of legendary 80s rock n rollers like REO Speedwagon, Ted Nugent, Scorpions, Rainbow, and 707. Those who were there to witness Colorado Sun Day #1 in 1982, got to see rock legends Scorpions in their infancy, before they were headliners, opening alongside 707. It was part of their Blackout tour.
Folsom Field was among the most popular concert stadiums throughout the 70s and 80s. One of their largest shows was the Folsom Music Festival in 1977, where a whopping 61,500 music loving attendees filled the stands in the rain. Over the years, a plethora of music icons would grace the stage at Folsom, including The Grateful Dead, Foreigner, Van Halen, The Who, Paul McCartney, and Simon & Garfunkel.
