This awesome vintage concert shirt is for the rock band Huey Lewis and the News from their 1984 tour promoting their number one album Sports. This was the group's third album and the one which launched them to international fame. Certified seven times platinum, the album contained four top ten hits, "Heart and Soul", "I Want a New Drug", "The Heart of Rock and Roll", and "If This Is It". Sports managed to rank number two on the Billboard year-end album chart, just behind the smash hit Thriller. In fact, when Pepsi approached Michael Jackson for a promotion, Coca-Cola countered by approaching Huey Lewis.

Once the band took off, they were recruited for the soundtrack of the 1985 Robert Zemeckis film Back to the Future. The movie featured their hit songs "The Power of Love" and "Back in Time", and Lewis also got to make a cameo appearance in the film. He appears as one of the teachers judging Marty McFly's battle of the bands audition, and utters the line, "I'm afraid you're just too darn loud."

Sports was followed by another wildly successful album, Fore!, which contained the songs "Stuck With You", "Jacob's Ladder", and "Hip to Be Square".

The tag says medium but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult small.
