This awesome kid's sweatshirt was made all the way back in the 1960s and it's a souvenir from the Disneyland theme park in Anaheim, California. Disneyland was still fairly fresh on the scene in the 1960s, as the park had only been open since 1955. This meant that a lot of changes were made to try and tweak and perfect the park's plethora of attractions. The 60s saw the introduction of some iconic Disney entertainment, including The Enchanted Tiki Room, which opened thanks to Disney's innovative animatronics technology, and also the now famous tune was added to It's A Small World.
The Pirates of the Caribbean ride was opened in 1966, and this was the last ride that Walt Disney himself oversaw the development of. Although Walt died before the ride officially opened, he did get a chance to ride the iconic attraction, which was added to the New Orleans Square expansion of the park. The decade ended with the opening of another beloved classic, the Haunted Mansion and its 999 happy haunts opened its doors in 1969.
Fits like a modern unisex youth large. There are some light spots on the front, see pics.
