This incredible short sleeve sweatshirt is a classic piece of merchandise celebrating Charles M Schulz's comic strip, Peanuts. This sweatshirt dates all the way back to the 60s, which means it was made towards the beginning of the strips' original run. The first Peanuts comic debuted in October of 1950, and the strip continued all the way until Schulz's death in 2000. By that point in time, Peanuts was being published in more than 2600 newspapers across 75 different countries.

The Peanuts strips were centered around a simple premise, following the adventures of an insecure but kind-hearted young man named Charlie Brown. Although the strip focused on a group of young children, the characters were still complex and they drew readers in with their relatable philosophical musings. In the 50s, Schulz's ability to capture the complicated nuances of childhood made Peanuts stand out among its competition, but it was in the 60s that the strip truly reached its full potential. It was during that decade that characters like Peppermint Patty and Franklin were introduced, and that was also when the first Peanuts animated special premiered, A Charlie Brown Christmas.

This vintage sweatshirt has remained in excellent condition for more than half a century, and it features a whole gang of classic Peanuts characters, including Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy and Linus Van Pelt, Schroeder, and Patty.
