This concert tee is an original from Boston's 1979 World Tour. It's been loved on hard over the years, rendering everything super thin, buttery soft, and perfectly worn-in.
Boston's '79 tour promoted their second studio album Don't Look Back (1978). The graphic on this tee was actually their cover art! Memorable tracks off this release included "A Man I'll Never Be" and "Feelin Satisfied". The album ultimately sold more than 4 million copies in just the first month, charted Billboard Hot 100, and certified 7x platinum by RIAA.
Despite its success, the Don't Look Back album also coincided with the Boston's legal battle with its very own record label Epic. The band's primary song writer, guitarist, and producer Tom Scholz insisted Epic execs forced them to release the album before it was ready. They would cease to release another album for 8 whole years, until they had finally left the label and won the case.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. This shirt is distressed, super soft and thin, holes and runs throughout, see pics.
