This beautiful tee is unworn from the 1970s. It's cute and comfy, featuring a stretchy rib knit. Graphics include that signature font from the Carpenters 1977 album Passage. The backside shows off the iconic A&M Records logo, which was where Karen and Richard recorded a cover of Klaatu's "Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft".

While the world was transitioning to more punk sounds in '77, Carpenters fans in the UK and Japan remained loyal to plushy pop singles like "All You Get From Love Is A Love Song" and "Sweet, Sweet Smile". The album charted No.49 in the US but did way better in the UK at No.12 and No.7 in Japan.

Tag says small but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult extra small. Rib knit and stretchy. Deadstock, unworn.
